I have a 40Gb PS3 i have many games that are full PSN games (10) i have lots of music and lots of game data files. Its simple, games i don't play often or at all i either trade in or delete the install file. Ive still got 10GB left.

I ordered a 320gb hardrive for my ps3 yesterday with a 500gb usb hardrive so I can backup my saves and game files on it and move them to my new drive...I've got so many games and I don't feel like removing my games all the time from my old 40gb.

No but i was pissed with Fallout 3's 6.7 gig install. I have a 40 gig so yeah its self explanatory.

No, it hasn't. If I need extra space, I'll delete some older installs, or some demos. I've got about 22 free GB on my hard drive, and I don't let it fall below that much. I can always delete SCIV install, and GTAIV (my cousin did it) if I really need more space.. If I really want to, I'll just get a 1 TB HDD..

You guys kinda got the bad end of the stick with the 20GB HDD. They're making 32GB memory sticks for PSP, and other devices that uses them... lol...

I'M sure this is a dumb question but where do u go to see how much space u have left on your ps3? Thanks in advance. U have a 60 gig n I had to delete some demo so I could play dragon age. I didn't think I use up all that space already.

It's not that dumb a question because it's kind of hidden.  Settings -> System Settings -> System Information.

As for install size, I haven't avoided buying a game due to install size (60GB here) but it's something I definitely look at.

If i have a big ass HDD no, but sony stole my HDD. soo... unless i end up getting a slim yes it does.
