i just cant see video games, overall, performing very strongly this holiday...

wii being the only plat to go into a increase in october is a pretty bad tea leaf to read, and what if the price cut didnt hit? it wasnt even a huge rollback... HD systems grew by like 10k in sales vs 2008 october...and the overall pricedrops its taken to get these systems to do just these numbers...none of this is very impressive.

Wii down so much yoy, Yet, still dominating HW wise..poor Nintendo.

I personally expected more out of Wii this month, and I thought UC2 would sell more than it did also as a PS3 exclusive..Maybe NPD is low balling? Who knows.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

The only time I have ever seen a surprise software from the PS3 from NPD was Infamous selling 175k. Evey month, at least one 360 game always seem to sell 400k when you least expect it. It's always that ( 400k) number.

Most of the hardware over/under tracking has already been pointed out so no need to repeat it. Did any Demon's Souls #s show up ?
