a few 360 owners so they can "prove" that the 360 has the edge over the ps3 because everyone says MW2 looks better on the 360

This is kind of a silly thread.

KZ2 is basically unbeatable, with regards to technical quality, by any cross-platform title. Even as an exclusive, its like that only a few titles, including a would-be Killzone 3, will surpass it.

MW2 is *amazing* in that it is cross-platform (!), thus sacrificing many visual issues to the "lowest common denominator" of the two HD consoles, and it still looks awesome. It doesn't best KZ2 in terms of visuals, however. -- anyone who says otherwise hasn't actually played both, or is wearing heavily tinted fanboy goggles.

If IW was willing to drop the framerate of MW2 to 30 fps, and improved upon a bunch of their visual tech, then we *might* have a decent comparison between it and KZ2. As is though, its no contest, on a frame-by-frame basis, or even in motion, despite the framerate differences.

On a true though you are the one ebing a fanboy i have just put a graphics comp together. Not a gameplay comp or what system is better comp. Just a graphics one. So i really dont see what point you are trying to make or your problem. Unless you are pissed of that KZ2 an almost year old game looks better then the glorious MW 2 on both HD consoles.

Oh yh i'm trying to make 360 owners jealous by comparing a multiplat with an exclusive. And remember your the one who said it not me so i am curious as to whats your motive behind this post

But to say "it's no contest." shows your own bias as well. As I stated earlier, I prefer the look of Call of Duty over Killzone 2, it's a personal preference thing. My minds eye says "This looks better" because I like the environments, set peices and color palatte more. It's completely subjective. Yes, the textures are better, the particle effects are better, the AA is better in Killzone 2, but that doesn't mean that it will "look better" to everyone. For me Killzone 2 was beaten already by Resistance 2 and Uncharted 1 on the PS3 and Gears 2 on the 360, because I like them better. You can't say something like the bolded above and then talk about other people's "fanboy goggles" without admitting that you yourself are looking through Sony colored glasses.

That thread was about MW2 winning the showdown according to the digital foundry.  One sentence in it was about MW2 being better looking then KZ2.

Come on dude, let's not be so insecure about stuff...who cares if someone thinks Game A looks better than Game B?  Honestly?  HOW does it affect your enjoyment of said game or your system of choice?

The 360 version of MW2 has better lighting. I played them both before I bought them. The graphics are of course similar because its a port.

It doesnt i just like graphics thread no matter what console is winning. Plus when people are saying MW 2 is better then KZ2 graphics then i want to see why.

So the best thing to do is put them side by side and have a look. Then make you own decision on what you think looks better then see if people agree with you or not.

That's not even within the realm of opinion. Did you play R2 on a 50 inch full HD TV and KZ2 on a 1980 10" monitor or something?
