A new HDD is 110$, a new xbox is around 250, now it can be the HDD thats dead but could it be also possible that the connection on the Xbox is the problem ?
Anyways I'm picking a new one tomorrow, this is pissing me off, I'm on my fifth xbox and now this is going to be my sixth, I just feel like I wanna throw it out the window in a pit of fire.
I just want to know, if my HDD is not working, how can I recover my gamertag and my xbox live account ?

Anyone else think that this line was hilarious?  RARGH, I'M SO MAD RIGHT NOW, HERE TAKE MORE OF MY MONEY!!!

Yeah, well today I went to buy a new one but just couldn't get myself to spend more money on this damn POS. The only reason why I want another one is so I can play GoW, which is the only game I play, I guess I'll just quit gaming for now, this thing I swear to god is the worst fucking console ever, its like they put a bunch of unreliable parts together and made the Xbox360. Everything on that thing is garbage, on top of this my DVD player on it now makes a loud noise when I play a game.

My favorite games for this gen:

1. Gears of War    2. MGS4    3. Killzone 2   4. Halo 3(Underated by many)      5. Mass Effect

Around the Network

WAIT!!! Before you sell that HDD, tell Microsoft that you want a data transfer cable. It's free and it only takes 2-3 days to arrive. Try porting your data from the old HDD to the new one. It's worth a shot, anyway. And if you do get a new 360, do a "licence transfer" on Xbox.com . Trust me on this.

I should really back up my game save data on the HDD to the memory unit. I've really been lazy about this.
