Wow, I can't believe he let the pass get by him like that. Sucks for him....

I'm not sure what was more epic, how quickly he got the red card or his faceplant.

dont follow soccer all that close but i know what a red card means..but not why he got it and such care to explain

The opposition player was deemed to be through on goal, and was brought down and the ref judged him to be deniying a clear goalscoring oppotunity so therefore he recieved a red card.

Looked like a dive to me though there wasn't much contact...

Haha, that was hilarious. Such bad look. I would have just given a yellow thought to be honest.

If judged to have fouled he was the last man so he had to walk...

If the player was judged to have dived it would have been a yellow card to the attacker.

Looked like a foul to me, appears to actually trip him as he goes past. Not the greatest angle to see though.
