This thread is fail.

Valve games are not good enough to be desired by PS3 only owners, there are other 360 console exclusive developers who make better games that I'm sure most PS3 owners would rather have games from.

Plus they aren't even true 360 exclusives, so people are even less likely to care when they can play them on PC.

 I personally have never liked a single Valve game I've played so I couldn't care less, but I seriously doubt there are people FIENDING for Valve games on PS3.

It's all about their douchey attitude, They can just not develop on the PS3 and never say anything about the PS3, but they choose to be dick heads about it, so people hate on them.

It's not that hard to understand.

Wow. Richard, your half logic is really becoming old hat. Valve makes good games. Yes their are ps3 owners who would love to play valve's games on their system. obviously. But trying to say that it's ok for them to make unneeded jabs at the ps3, and it's community  because they make good games and many ps3 owners want to play their games is rediculous.

Even if I wanted lfd2 or any other valve game on my ps3. I would still feel they were assholes for they way they have talked about the ps3.

Blizzard started off as a third-party developer for DOS, Mac, Genesis and SNES platforms, creating games like The Lost Vikings, Rock n' Roll Racing, Blackthorne and The Death and Return of Superman.  There was also an SNES version of Starcraft done. 

Blizzard just doesn't to develop games for consoles now.

Well i truly thank you for the info, I still think most people are like I was ignorant of this and therefore dont care. They assume blizzard always made pc games and thats it.

Because Blizzard never insulted a gaming community. Valve has simply said they will develop for 360 and PC because the online community is there. They don't even mention the possibility of ever developing for the PS3 and they haven't been paid any money for exclusivity. All other developers have overcome the difficulties with developing for PS3 while Valve has decided to boycott the system. I also don't see any reason for anybody to hate Blizzard

I wonder as well,If valve cant support or try at making decent ps3 games why would people cry for them to try when their are god sent developers like naughty dog.I own the orange box on the ps3 and after the lack of support i wouldn't buy another game from valve on ps3,  their excuse for not updating is the ps3 was a failure.

Threads that say that Valve is stupid to not port Left 4 Dead to the PS3, because they LOSE money if they don't.  Well, people need to WANT a game on a console for it to sell, right? 

By the way, it isn't good to ask for some threads for something like this.  One can find people over the Internet who want anything.  Well, unless maybe it is the game Africa.  There isn't a big demand for the 360 to get that game.

Personally though, valve have really fallen in my eyes. Regardless of where L4D2 comes out I won't be getting it after playing the demo. Is it just me or have their games not evolved much since the days of counterstrike. It's like I'm playing the same games from them over and over and they are even too lazy to add a new coat of paint. It's the same engine they used last gen and it's finally gotten to the point where it's showed it's age to me and I'm going to turn it away for some fresher meat.

Valve didn't develop Counter-Strike.  The community around Half-Life did.  They just published it.  I will say Portal and Team Fortress 2 are good though.

Blizzard games are not designed for console and you can see when playing them that significant changes would be required for them to work on console.

Valve has been making fps like a dozen other companies but somehow they don't bring their games to some console while their competitors manage it ( IW, Guerilla, ...) and then they give bs excuses of why they do not...

And please stop comparing both, Blizzard is a much bigger company/successfull company than Valve...
Wow alone is probably worth 4-5 times what the whole Valve company is worth.....

Personnaly I don't really care and were they to start developing for the PS3 I woudn't buy their shit anyway. There are enough other developers that make good enough games...( lets not forget than for all the noise Left4 Dead got, it got outsold handilly by CoD:WaW on the 360..)



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
