I'm strictly against buying a system for one game,but it may sell a decent amount in the bundle though.

That Wal-mart deal is huge, the guy at my Walmart told me that they are prepared to unload about 150 - 200 Arcade units on this deal at my store alone.

This reply is to join the "no" bandwagon. Halo 3 ODST didn't sell a lot more 360, MW2 won't do much either.

It has a better chance than most of you think for worldwide 250-300k launch week due to the Wal-mart deal and the fact that the MW2 bundle is going to sell out that week as well. I am selling my 60 gig to get the bundle and plenty of other current owners will be doing the same. I think the Sony lovers are just scared that the 360 will outsell it that week worldwide and probably every week the rest of the year since PS3 has no exclusives left for the year and the 360 still has L4D2...

ODST got the 360 a ~16% boost. I'd think about 20-25% for the 360 for MW2 seems about right.

Honestly I'm very surprised that Forza 3 didn't push the 360 past the PS3 in America this week. First full week should give a better picture of it's longer term potential perhaps?

The proof will be in the sales. Thinking that the bundle won't sell well is pretty dumb considering it is the best bundle probably ever released. The normal Elite is $300 with 1 controller, no game, and a 120 gig HDD. The bundle has 2 controllers ($50 for the extra), the biggest game of the year ($60) and a 250 gig HDD (worth at least $50-$60 more than 120 gig). All in all at least $150 worth of extras for only $100 more in price. Not to mention it has a special limited edition paintjob. Definitely the best deal I have seen for a long time, especially in this generation. All of the PS3 bundles that have come and gone have had less stuff for more money...
