after the huge sales of PS3 slim for september in Germany ,stores decided to compete with one another and cut the PS3 slim price furthur.

@299 euro in Germany:

September:

1. PlayStation 3 - 88.000
2. Wii - 31.200

yea it is only till the end of the week apearently.239 brand new from amazon.de.I don't know about the stores though.there is game stop in germany????

its no official price cut from sony. it only happened cause aldi is selling ps3 bundles (ps3 + 2nd controller + wipeouthd + expansion for wipeout + 2 years warrnaty) for 299€ starting today so mediamarkt/staurn and amazon germany dropped prices too.
so expect teh other prices get back to normal once aldi has sold off his bundles

look out for ebay auctions in germany, maybe there´s happening something in pricemanagement til the cut lasts. ^^

(the reason: a normal store (like wal mart) was selling PS3´s with wipeout Fury and another Controller for 299,- , and the electronic-stores tried to catch up.. and then, the 239,- price came.)
