Oh and yeah i never did play 4 or 5 but i played 1, 2 and 3 for sure and to be honest its....the same to me except more pretty, the fighting is just so odd, its like this game is sooo Combo and Juggle focused then anything else, and WTF at the final ARCADE BOSS!!! omfg something that pop'd outta' a Final Freakin Fantasy!!! :-o

@Seraphic
Actually the voices thing is something I think it good, don't see why we should expect Japanese characters to speak in English and visa versa really. Saves on costs too if you only pay one set of voice actors. :P

And while character creation is something I've never dealt with, I was dissapointed not to have it either but customisation for clothes is done well.

The Boss is a bit cheap in his moves I find, but luckily you don't have to play him much.

Hmm, pie.

It's an egyptian god. Concidering that the last boss in tekken 3 was a aztec god fused heihachi.. That isn't really that far out of the ordenary for tekken :p

Regarding the voice overs. That's how it's supposed to be. With the japanese ones speaking japanese and everyone else basically speaking english (unless they have reason to otherwise not.) that's how it's been since tekken 4 and I really like that. I hate games and movie where everything is dubbed.. Prefere original language.

Regarding the moves.. Well it's just unlike other fighting franchises. I don't find it weird.. but I find most other fighters limited since you can do so few things compared to tekken.

I thought soul calibur 4 was dissapointing.. The char creater was very limited and only had styles that were already existant in the game via other chars. I don't want a char  creater in tekken because .. well frankly there are 40 chars and you're playing their story. I like that aspect. There is a lot of customisation if you're into that sort of thing.

btw tekken team =/= soul team. Two different teams making the games.

I prefere how tekken fights over any other fighter :p.. That's just me though.

How long did you play it ? after the first level you unlock arena which is like arcade mode only with 4 stages instead of 9-10 where each prologue and end movie can be unlocked from. Not only that, but by playing the game regularly you unlock end movies aswell. Sounds to me like you haven't given it a proper chance yet... Though admittedly. Ingame Convos only take place in scenario campaign.

@seraphic. If you haven't played either 4 or 5 it'll play very differently than it did back then. Heck it plays very differently than tekken 5. You just need to adjust a little. I still haven't found out how to do the ultimate move with paul in tekken 6 yet .. but then again I don't really play with him. In the beginning it's easiest to buttom smash with the knowledge that D-pad movement combined with the face buttons create various attacks and that some fighters fight better with their hands and other fight better with their legs.. Depending on their .. Fight Style.

I only played the tutorial stage and part of the 2nd stage that was available before calling it quits on the scenario mode. Didn't like how the character is controlled and the camera was annoying. I might give it another chance since most of the trophies are from the scenario mode and to unlock that mode. I spent most of my Tekken 6 time online, survival mode, arcade mode and practice since a couple of fighters had their moves altered.

If you give it a chance it grows on you. Especially with the rpg element. And like I said. Arena = prologues and ending movies for all and that plays in good old tekken style.

Don't get me wrong i like it, but its just strange, im not used to this style of fighting, i think its the fact they all feel so stiff to me when fighting, though i gotta admit if you get a hang of the juggle effect moves and combo moves it looks like to be a really fun game, im simply not used to it!

Add me dude and lets FIGHT! (Online and in-game that is. xD)

lol i'll add ya tomorrow. On my way to bed soon :p can't be arsed to turn on the ps3 right now.
