It'd be awesome to see what games were chopped the most to stores, and which games people bought used.

Not sure if anywhere would actually have that info aside from game store company databases.

Prolly see some surprising stuff. This gen I've seen more Forza 2s than anything else aside from maybe Ghost Recon.

Is there any real stats on this stuff?

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6). This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

I heard that dead space had twice as many people play it than buy it new according to their counts.

That's probably not the most. I'm guessing uncharted is up there, since it was a bundled game and a short single player campaign.

If we're talking about which game sits used the most in the stores, it's definitely a sports game. Probably Madden 07. There's no way to know which games get repurchased the most though. Gamestop might not even have that data.
