Computerbase a german computer webpage reported that aldi is selling a PS3+ 2 controllers + WipeoutHD Bundle in germany for 299€ starting tomorrow. An alsi shop in berlin confirmed that rumor.

Same here, but they often have some neat hardware sales, especially PCs though it's usually sold out in the first couple of hours.

ALDI is one of the largest grocery stores in the world (actually, the stores are quite small but the amount of stores is massive.)  It has a huge presense in Germany, Spain, other parts of Europe and the US.  I've never been to a location outside the US but every store I've been to in the US (5 stores in 3 states) all sell electronics from time to time (TVs, computers, DVD players, MP3 players...)

From what I know about ALDI, this is likely a good deal.

Theres a few in the uk too, aldi sells the best chocolate :)

also there is a rumor taht aldi might lower price again before they start selling tomrrow to counter mediamrkt and saturn offers.

will be interesting how the ps3 sales will be this week in germany if teh price battle starts now
