Back then, over 1 month ago i expected PS3 to stay at 40k+, so 60k wouldn`t be impossible. But PS3 went to 30k, so that`s why it did only around 40k this week. Anyway, still nice numbers, compared to last year`s PS3 sales in Japan.

Basedon the numbers provided, you expected PS3 to have a 50% boost. It gets a little over 25% boost right now.

Also, it's a pretty broad 40K if 37K is "around 40K".

OP: Bayonetta certainly opened far above Famitsu expectation.



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Wow, Bayonetta an Tekken 6 have done very well and are surpassing expectations. Very good.

Super Robot Taisen Neo recovers a little bit after a bad first day, but those sales are still bad.

Famitsu's projections have FAILED so many times this year....hopefully FF13 will be another!

Either way, I think PS3 has 2009 locked on in Japan

Makes you wonder what Final Fantasy XIII will do after all. They predict lifetime of 1.5mill right? The game could do 2mill there when all is said and done, though I give it a modest shot @ 1.75mill tops.

After your Uncharted 2 prediction, i remain positive it will do 2 Million

OT: PS3 keeps it's weekly lead over Wii, nice to see some decent Uncharted 2 legs also!

Also, Uncharted 2 is showing sick legs considering the type of game it is.
