this doesnt come out anywhere but japan for like 1.5 months
How often do Famitsu reviews predict sales? I would think we should clear that up before assuming this won't sell well because of that.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Is VGC getting a Japanese review copy?

Exactly. Games like ArcRise Fantasia and Muramasa: The Demon Blade received decent to great reviews (8s and 9s?), and neither one of those games did particularly huge business, sales-wise.
Still, while that score isn't as high as it could be, it's by no means an indicator on how this game will fare.

Few times actually. I remember some comments about Sega and how the Famitsu review helped 428 to rise sales, but just a little. Sales are more based in franchise recognition and hype actually.
This game needs bundling. Sony does it all the time, and it has been quite helpful thus far, especially for establishing fledgling franchises (see Uncharted).

Isn't there a bundle for this game, or was that for Tales?
