Forums - Gaming Discussion - 1up.com: "Important Xbox 360 exclusives to head over to PS3!"

Gears wont go maybe pc like halo other then that this round of consoles wont reach the heights of ps2 so software developers need to reach more potential customers if say 50 million PS3 and 360 are in the market place a dual platform has more sales potential! most of these hi end multi games graphics intensive games wont make it to the wii for obvious reason so hi end PC are the only other place for sales! and nex gen games cost abount 10x more then last gen games to make! wethe rits PS3 or 360 as long as great games are being made who cares where you play them. I love my wii but its more of a family console with sports and things my shooters are 360 with live and Iam waiting for MGS4 also resistance is good but not enough peeps with headsets hence the lack of communication drags the online experience down. I hope they all succeed and dev. continue to make amazing games competition force down prices and causes better software If one were to emerge alone and all others failed gaming would fail because one core group couldnt sustain the market!

Gears of War, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Mass Effect, and Too Human are all published by Microsoft so it is highly unlikely that they will appear on the PS3 ... and I could be wrong, but I thought that Dead Rising was already announced for the PS3 The truth is that any third party title that is released for the PS3 or XBox 360 will likely be produced for the other system eventually ... Development costs are too high to take the risk (or not capatalize and get the most profit) by limiting yourself to one platform.

No, it is just interesting when a well known, multi-million selling, major exclusive game becomes multi-platform ... Lost Planet and Dead Rising are the two most likely games to go multi-platform on that list and they have sold just over a million copies worldwide ... Compare that to Grand Theft Auto which hovers around 15 Million units, Final Fantasy which hovers around 8 and Metal Gear Solid which sits around 5 ... Consider that yesterday people were talking about how minor of a loss Devil May Cry was for the PS3 and that its worst performing game has outsold every game on this list which can go multi-platform

It might not mean that much, but considering that Microsoft doesn't have nearly as many exclusives as PS3, I think it matters as much as PS3 games switching to 360. GTA was obviously the biggest news so far considering how well it sells, but the few 360 exclusives are very important for microsoft, so any they lose is important. That said, I'm not holding out hope I won't have to get a 360 at some point to play any of those games.

Do we know if it is an old exclusive or if it is something that have been anounced that will come. The most of the game listed have been out for a time. So if it will take 3 month to get the port out, not much will change (more than that PS3 get one more game). It is a little bit worse if this is a new major game coming that suddetly will be on the PS3 to.

Buy it and pray to the gods of Sigs: Naznatips!

It will be simultaneous. But it would not suprise me if it came to 360 first and then PS3 :D

on ps3 one day earlier. It`s a contract of timed exclusivity. 1 Day - also time-exclusive. PS3 has a lot of BIG exclusive games, while x360 not that much, and loosing any of them would make x360 less attractive.

Every 5 seconds on earth one child dies from hunger...

2009.04.30 - PS3 will OUTSELL x360 atleast by the middle of 2010. Japan+Europe > NA.

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

What PS3 games are exclusive to the PS3 again? I can only think of 2-3 games that are still PS3 exclusive that aren't Sony published. IMO, I'd assume that it's either a Capcom game, or Bioshock that's coming to PS3. The MS published games are safe like ME, GoW, ect. However, I wonder if the games will be more in the vein of games like Left 4 Dead and Frontlines: Fuel of War that are coming to PS3 as well, as both games are PC/360 already.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
