Forums - Sony Discussion - Sony Home Boss: Home is not a priority

This is the head of Home development saying this.

http://www.t3.com/news/ps3s-home-not-a-priority-for-sony-any-more?=41845&cid=OTC-RSS&attr=T3-Main-RSS

Home's development boss Peter Edward told attendees at the London Games Conference earlier this week the 3D fun palace is "Not a priority right now" for the gaming giant, which sounds like the big cheeses are finally giving up on the dream of Home taking off in a significant way.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

But I do expect them to keep working on Home after 2009, during 2010 when the PS3 can stand on its own and has a larger userbase.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Both old and also dismissed as a misquote by another Sony man.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

Home I don't think was every really a "priority" to begin with. It's a service that Sony is granting it's base with. Also with new Home spaces releasing much more consistently now, I really doubt that Sony is going to give up on Home.

Everyone here should know just how stubborn Sony is to make a product or service a success.

well good, i seriously think they should have focus improving XMB then adding home with full integration.

rather the other way around.
