For me its:

OoT > MM = WW = TP > aLttP > PH > Minish Cap > tLoZ > Zelda 2 > Seasons & Ages

Of course all of those are among the best adventure games ever made.

 The rumour is they are deducting 1 point because the goombas aren't bump-mapped.

Since we are talking about Zelda, I can say my personal opinion on the series is: MM > TMC > PH/OoT > TP/TWW/ALttP > LA > FSA > TAoL/LoZ > Oracles

This is based on my ‘gut feeling’ of the individual titles. Artistic licence, gameplay, replay value, visuals, story, depth, innovation, etc. are all things I value in a Zelda title, and some titles excel at one or more of these - for instance, I think PH is one of the best defined and groundbreaking Zeldas ever in terms of structure and storyline, and is much greater leap from the Zelda norm than people give it credit for - but it needs a great balance to reach the top, and Majora’s Mask more or less dominates the other games in virtually every area.

And I expect much of the same from Galaxy, actually. My only fear is that it will lose the ‘Mario’ feeling, like Sunshine did. However, everything I’ve seen of the game so far scream “Mario 64 In Space!” so it’s a slight worry at best.

I disagree. For me it's TP = TWW > OoT

OoT is very outdated and overrated.


LttP eats all three of those games alive, even today.

Disagree. I'm playing through it on the first time on VC and it's really boring me.

Not anywhere near as good as OoT, TWW or TP.

OMG Link's Awakening was totally awesome. I still remember me finishing it when I was like 10 years old...

For me :

PH > MM > TP = OoT > aLttP = MC = S&A
