I'm pretty sure China has one of the highest piracy rates in the world (if not the highest), despite also having the highest population in the world. And since the PS3 needs to sell a good amount of software for Sony to make a profit on each console, selling the PS3 in China would be suicide.

Funny really since the bloody thing is made in China (at least that's what it says on my PS3 box). In late 2010 when PS3 starts selling at a hardware profit they can launch in China then watch as the bluray becomes as hacked and pirateable as DVD and UMD.

Price is around $445 and $500 for special edition(+1 Dual shock controller, 1 game etc.).With 2 yrs warranty.

 

Import game shops in Thailand sell it for around $400.(But if it broken ,you gotta send to HK.)
