Darth - Actually we can blame this on the Yen. 4 years ago the when Sony was launching the Ps3 they didn't expect the economy to go the way it did. Trust me. Sony didn't see this happening. If the economy was good the whle time they'd be profitable on HW... Probablly a year or two ago.

Yes... Ps4 r&d is probablly been in progress for a while now.
Wow, so it's ahead of the original Xbox in losses.
^^ VAIO and Walkman are included, and MS lost about 6 billion in Xbox 1 era
Well the fact that the yen is very strong doesnt help their profits either.

Not enough information to make that determination.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
So who lost more in history?
Sega? MS? or Nintendo? since we now know sonys shame.
^^ MS lost a lot more than SEGA and nintendo never made loss
