Borderlands won't get RPG GotY because it isn't that fantastic as an RPG. It's dominantly a FPS with a nice bit of RPG hybridisation to keep things interesting.

Also your best portable/DS/PSP section makes no sense - surely games that make the list for best portable should also be on their respective consoles list?

you see usually they make a game GOTY by the story/campaign of the game

and well when it comes to uncharted 2 its got the best action/adventure/movie/

story/campaign ever and when it comes to call of duty games the best thing they

have to offer is the online multiplayer so in a nut shell

uncharted 2 is bassically GOTY already.

Given that the best PS3/360 games are just exclusive, you should probably add a best HD game of the year, or something like that. But otherwise, I would agree with everything in the OP apart from best sports game, which really really really should go to FIFA 10 or MLB the Show 09. I also haven't played enough RPGs to judge that one, or the racing one and I haven't played enough of CTW to really decide about that

Actually, Dragon Age Origins will be the RPG of the year wont it?
