Forums - Gaming Discussion - PS3/360 Gaming reviews ALWAYS give the same scores

Does this lead us to believe either the 360 is easier to devlop for? The PS3 will always have underperforming games? (knowing the fact the PS3 has superior hardware). Or is it just simply down to money. I would have thought if it was down to money then the PS3 really isnt worth buying if all you're going to get is a 360 game in a different box. I understand there are other factors to buying consoles but if it was just bought for gaming then I see a long lasting problem here

"PS360 gaming reviews ALWAYS give the same scores". Really?

Bayonetta (X360 advantage) just got different scores, and so did Batman (PS3 Advantage)

Honestly, if you really expect multiplatform games to be significantly different you are kidding yourself. You should be buying the platform for the exclusives.

Wait, if they all have the same score (which they generally do assuming they're launched around the same time, not some year later port) then why would that make the 360 easier to develop for?

1. It's been stated numerous that , yes, the 360 is easier to develop for
2. No, they don't always get the same review score.
3. I don't get the underperforming part.
4. "I would have thought if it was down to money then the PS3 really isn't worth buying if all you're going to get is a 360 game in a different box." what?
5. Is this about ps3 games not selling, then you went the wrong way. Multiplat games sell better on the PS3 than the exclusives, weird huh.

Well if the scores are the same then surely you would expect the ps3 to have higher graphics scores at least as apportionate to it's superior power in that department so really are most developers developing on the 360 then proting it to the PS3 with minimal difference hence my comment about he PS3 under performing and really is just a 360 in a different box as a games machine

Well i for one can say the PS3 has the horsepower in the graphics department and would want to know why it gets the same scores as a 360, thats all!

Let me make it clear for you, I really don't want to end this thread so early.

1. The games are first made on the 360

2. Then the game are ported to the PS3 ( sometimes by other companies)

3. The PS3 is difficult to develop for

4. In the process of porting the game, it loses some graphical textures, but very little.

5. Usually the difference is quite minimal, but if you are playing both games at the same time like most do, we will see the difference.
