I just have one question. If the PS3 "Only does everything" and if you stacked up all the features side by side of the two consoles (including add-ons, XBL/PSN, etc), would it not be accurate that the 360 "Does MORE of everything"?

I just keep imagining this slogan for the next batch of 360 commercials. It'd be both true and hilarious!

I don't really follow... especially now that PS3 has Netflix.

A watered down, disc based Netlfix, Huzzah!

And that was not exactly the only unique feature....

If you stack up all the features of XBL, PSN, Xbox 360, PS3, plus add-ons available to each, the 360 "Does MORE of everything"

Plus it "Does MORE gaming" and "Does MORE entertainment" and "Has MORE fun time"

I didn't really follow the Netflix news (since I wasn't interested in it the first place), I thought you just had to put in the disc, and then you can stream. It's as much as a hastle as putting in a Bluray disc to watch a movie like most people do with PS3s anyway.

Even if we do consider the disc based thing a negative, it seems like a very very tiny weight on the scale.

Can you please be specific with the features and add ons of the two consoles? You take it for granted that everyone knows and understands what you're talking about.

I don't see how it does more gaming (sheer volume of titles are kinda weak, when we're this far in the gen with old games filling up that space), more entertainment seems on par now with Netflix multi, and more fun time seems very subjective.

Can you at least not seem blatantly fanboyish? When I want to be a fanboy, I at least acknowledge and half joke about it, or stealth it in. No one's going to come to your support with that kind of post attitude.

Here's a surprise, a PS3 troll thread on PS3Chartz.com! What a terrible community here. . .

I am not trying to be a fanboy, just comically objecting to the PS3's very misleading and silly new slogan.

I guess if you really feel I need to expand, I shall.

I do agree that the fun time one was subjective.  I also would like to note that I do not include web-based applications with the PS3 because they are not built in features.  The Web Browser is the feature, not the uses of it.  The experiences with the PS3 web browser are also very limited seeing as how it is such a proprietary browser and does not support all the latest online media formats.  With Xbox 360 these are integrated into the online experience itself with unique and smooth flowing interfaces.  If I have missed anything or you wish to argue the point, feel free and I'll ammend the lists.  I would also like to note I am saying irregardless of price factors.

Some of my friends on xbox live are now only my friends on playstation network because their 360 broke so much. Yet, my brother broke my ps3 when he burrowed it and my 360 is yet to break. Still i think it if you have both it is safer to use the ps3 as your primary consle.

I actually Pray-stationed about it and I converted in March of this year.  Lol.

A co-worker convinced me to switch to the PS3 for the blu-ray and free online through PSN.  I love multiplayer games and I had trouble affording XBL, since I'm a PO, HO!  Lol!  So, I bought me a PS3 and I have loved it ever since!!!

Errr.... no? I think most people know that the PS3 has more features than the 360. Seriously, look up the list of features of both consoles and then come back to the thread. Just to get you started:

Blu-Ray?

Linux? (although not on slim anymore)

Web Browser? (on which you can access twitter and facebook anyway)

Larger and easily replaceable, cheap HDD?

BBC iPlayer?

Out of the box Wi-Fi?

Keyboard and Mouse support?

HDMI?

7.1 Surround sound?

And even Live and PSN are closer in quality than they were in the past. We might as well be comparing Home vs 360 Avatars.

They are similar, both have easy networking features, I can use Vuze to transfer files from my PCs to either my PS3 or 360 but at the end of the day, the PS3 has more features than the 360... unless you count jet engine-like noise as an added feature?

So he threw a perfectly good console away because he got another one?

Sounds like either your friend is an idiot, or you're lying and you made the entire story up. Fanboys make me sick, like people need to claim allegiance to one sole console/brand at a time, and toss the others aside. Whats wrong with keeping both?

Fanboy Conversions... you guys need to get lives and forget this console war crap.

Just because its integrated you think Facebook and Twitter shouldn't count on the Playstation side? Or that you can listen to Last.FM using the browser. In fact, the browser offers huge amounts of freedom.  And really all the "X game store" on both sides should really only count as a single game store as both have similar offerings from what I've seen. You've also left out PSP support on the Playstation side. Plus ethernet is not an add-on (unless you mean the cable). And Kboard and Mouse. And the easy transfer of files from PC to console (on both sides). Are you sure you don't work for Ms as this is normally what companies do to spin there list of features for a device. Take very similar feature and repeat them to artificially inflate numbers.
