How do they expect to outsell PS3 now? With everything it comes with built in at $299 it's crazy. The $199 arcade wasn't holding up too well against the $400 PS3 this year either.

I think this is only in reference to America's sales. (not sure though)
Very unprofessional there -- had the Microsoft PR simply said they expect SONY to only have a short term boost it would be fine, but to taunt them about being in third place ... it just really makes me hope that SONY ends up in 2nd place at the end of this gen.
Obviously MS tries a low blow due to the fact that they haven't been releasing compelling software for their 360 to surge it sales. Thats what drives console sales; price drops can go a long way, but its software that takes the lead.
Hey, they sound like Sony from 2006.
Arrogant.
Unless they have an ace in the hole, I expect MS to ride in third place until X-mas 2010 and possibly longer.

Microsoft is really under the pump know, there practically lying to them selves, i have both 360 and ps3 and i have always favored the ps3 more, but u know well see what happens, and SONY is showing what they can do when the price is reasonable, this sales surge just goes to show how many people where actually holding back to buy the ps3, and with the 140 million ps2 users, i can see allot of them upgrading to a ps3 know, so this sales surge aint going to stop any time soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
