Forums - Gaming Discussion - Anyone else feel Uncharted 2 borrows far too much from the DKC franchise?

LOL at Xxain and nen-suer!!!!

Wow wild thread lol. Resident Evil some, Tomb Raider a ton, and even a tiny bit of Pitfall if you really want to stretch it, oh and of course Indiana Jones, but DONKEY KONG?????????

omg, if anything, Uncharted steals too much from tetris.

I can't tell if this thread is stupid or epic yet.

Uncharted is a Indiana Jones movie with some Tomb Raider gameplay!

its possible that Naughty Dog didnt even know DKC!

Shit I take back my previous statement, they are totally the same

This proves my point. It's not a coincidence -When do you ever see a guy in that pose? Also, if you look at the background it's the same jungle setting in pretty much all DK games. I don't think there had been games with a jungle setting before DKC (I could be wrong, but either way, DKC popularized it). This in itself would be nothing, but there are far too many similarities like this to ignore.
