We know the larger hard drive won't cost Sony $50. Since that's the only difference I think it's possible. What about you?

yes i think SONY will make a profit of around $20.00, on the 250GB and hopefully it sells well, becuase here in australia and in Europe the 250GB ps3 is being bundled with uncharted 2, that should be a massive HW and SW sales for SONY and NAUGHTY DOG, and at this stage the momentum SONY is carrying into these holidays are immense and should see the PS3 selling around 3-3.5 million console if not more, here in australia 2 of my mates have all ready bought ps3 since the price drop, and there are like 10 who are buying them this holidays, as you the PS3 was always going to be selling better than the 360, but the price was allways the problem and know its droped evry 1 is buying the ps3, and hopefully they should start making profit
@Sega
I remember reading it on sum1 here in VGC but it was( I think) back in 2008 if im not mistaken...hopefully I can find it.
yes, they will make a profit on this model.
Sony was definitely making profit on the 160GB models. This one will make profit as well.
I hope so, I really do. I would hate to see Sony have to drop out of the console business and become a software company only. They need to start making some $$$$$
I'll do a signature later
