MW2 has just dropped to 9th on Steam! Wow.

Honestly speaking it just seems like PC fans seem to be complaining these days, and more so than the ps3 fans before ps3slim. In the end just vote with your dollar, you don't need to sign a petition.Just stop supporting Activision and start supporting other companies.

Namely you Vlad, you don't even care about MW2 dedicated servers or not.

But I do care about PC games being ruined, especially becaause of consoles.

Stop being mad.

It's just a game.

Shio, if you think Activision cares what you think or that MW2 is going to sell anything less than a bajillion copies then you sir are in need of counseling...

I'm pretty sure that Activision cares when a game sells less than expected.

There is no way in hell this game is going to sell less than expected, it is probably going to do 15 million or more...

Maybe console sales, console sales will probably be high. I do not think they are going to get the response they hoped for from the PC community. If they sell a bunch on console so what, we already all knew console sales for many console FPS are higher than sales for PC FPS when they are multi-platform AAA titles. CoD being probably the biggest hit with console gamers, aside from Halo. Some PC FPS franchises, notably Valves still sell millions on PC but arent nearly as hot on console.

IW thought they would be able to garner Valve-type sales on the PC by using Steam and consolifying MW2 even more than MW1, and reach "Valvehood" on the PC. They determined their existing fanbase was a detriment to sales.

They are about to face the reality of the market, and the PC gamer market is not going to reward their behavior. Fans of console style FPS mechanics... mostly already have or would buy a 250$ xbox, people dont typically spend 1k$ on a PC for the purpose of playing console games on the PC.

They probably expect MW2 to make more than COD4, but I didn't think they expected the PC version of MW2 to have been recieved so disappointingly, especially when they bothered to make MW2 Steam-integrated and spend some extra money on making that idiotic IWnet.

This pisses me off hard, I have never played MW1 or WAW and 2 was going to purchse MW2 as my first COD game. I guess I may go to Bad COmpany 2, but Im not sure about that.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
