I vote for Wii because it has fun games and will soon start to get even more games.

Are you saying that newer systems are always better than old systems?

Not necessarily.....

PS3 > PS1 > PS2 > PSP

DS > GB > GBA

MegaDrive > Dreamcast > Saturn

The ps and handhelds follow a pattern older than newer older newer Sega system is the same thing only starts with older

Err yeah, looking for patterns when there are groups of only three is a little pointless.

Here is the full list of how I view the consoles... I shall make the ones I haven't actually played (and thus opinion is based on other similar consoles and from hearing about them) greyed out.

Wii > GC > DS > N64 > PS3 > SNES >  PS1 > MegaDrive > GB/GBC > GBA > Dreamcast > X360 > PS2 > NES > Saturn > PSP > Xbox

My time spent with dreamcast is minimal though, about 20 minutes.

SNES (actually had a US one, so I enjoyed all these games that never came to EU).

SNES.. Just had the best games and plus it was the console I grew up with as a kid. I was in the 7-12 range when it was in its prime which is the perfect age for gaming on the SNES. Between games like Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country, Secret of Mana, Final Fight.. just endless great gaming memories with it.

NES was fantastic in its own way but just a liiittle bit before my time as I was born in 86. And I never got to play that many games for it because I was very young and my dad was a stickler for me owning too many video games.. I do have quite fond memories of Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt though as well as one of my favorite games of all time, Super Mario Bros 3.

SNES was simply the golden age of gaming for me along with the very late days of NES with Super Mario Bros. 3, and the very early days of N64 with Super Mario Bros. 64 and Goldeneye. Even though I still play and enjoy many nintendo games to this day, that was sort of the cut off for that warm fuzzy feeling of nostalgia for me, so it's tough for any future nintendo game or console to completely match those experiences..

definitly SNES.

I vote Wii

Wii > DS > NES > SNES > Gameboy > N64 > GBA > Gamecube

I am HEAVILY anticipating Dragon Quest X, New Super Mario Brothers, a real 3D Metroid game, a new Zelda, and a new Mario Galaxy. I REEALLY hope we see another Rune Factory game too. Not to mention the great downloads that have come, both new and old; I got my first taste of Sin and Punishment on the Wii, and I FINALLY got Uncharted Waters 2: New Horizons.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Nintendo 64 baby, so many memories. Ocarina, mariokart 64, and banjo-kazooie are still my top rated games to date. Not to mention the plethora of amazing games on that console.

Wii by far. I won't let my nostalgia get in the way of the superior console. The Wii does everything the other consoles does + more. It also brought back 2D gaming.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
