I own all three of those games and, compared to Nintendo-games? No, they are not. They're all good fun (especially NMH which shines above both Zack & Wiki and MadWorld imho), but they are far from Nintendo-level.

I can buy the "Only Nintendo game sold well, because they are good" argument. it's fair, Nintendo makes great games

 

but how do you explain horrible third party PARTY games selling better than games with 10 times more quality?

Let's face the fact here... Wii gamers are either extremely casual, or extremely pro-Nintendo, or both, I don't think anyone is arguing that

These threads are the same song and dance. Sony fans jumping all over Wii fans for a game not selling what they think it deserves to and demanding explanations while Wii owners defend themselves and explain why they and other Wii owners were not interested in said game.

It's getting old. Too much trolling going on. MANUELF got banned for saying it but I'm really beginning to think he had a point - no other faction is dedication to discussing the Wii and Wii games "flopping" more than Sony fans who are dominating this thread. We really don't need three threads about Dead Space Extraction. It's a flop.

Let's move on.

Very true. Good point. I have absolutely no idea how Carnival Games managed to get such mind-boggling sales, especially since it started off really low. I have no way to explain it.

I'm just saying, there's a different excuse from everyone, but there's proof against each one....

And btw, there's a difference between a sales flop, and a quality flop. I'm ok with a sales flop if the quality is there (like, DS: Extraction now, Okami, or Valkyria Chronicles before 500k was apparently a good selling number)....at least the game is still good. You guys are just making excuses for it not selling well.

Quality flops, however, are a different story. When there's tons of hype and the game ends up sucking, there should be no excuses whatsoever

You do realize that 360 and PS3 gamers have more quality games then the Wii right? Even when you factor in Exclusives the Wii is last for number of games that have over 90+ on metacritic. Its not about us Stomaching anything, we have an abundance of quality.

You sure? Im only counting 5. ( I don't count Okami and RE4: Wii exclusives, since I can play them on my PS2) PS360 both have 6 games you can buy at Retail scoring in the 90+ range

Metacritic does not put the Wii on top in numbers of games (not necessarily exclusives) rated over 90. Or am I wrong here?
