In my school on Brazil men that listen Lady Gaga,Madonna,Cher,Britney Spears and all kinds of pop sing by women are considered somehow gay. There's many jokes like, "Oh, Amy Winehouse, this is music for gays!" Even Heavy Metal this kind of treatment! Men here are supposed to listen just country music, and MPB for intellectuals.

I'd recommend against using the word "fag." It's very offensive. "Homosexual," "queer," and "gay" are all better choices.

OT: Among younger people (my age), yeah you often have your sexuality questioned when you listen to particular kinds of music such as pop (Lady Gaga for ex) and techno. When people actually grow up though, they no longer judge others based on the music they listen to.

yes pretty much, my friends have asked me if I'm gay for liking lady gaga. Its a reason why hip hop is maintstream(its starting to lose its hold) its because thats the only type of music that isn't gay according to society, that and heavy metal.
