I know PSN is free, but lets pretend it's not. How much would you pay for the service? How much is it worth to you?

I am not a fool and I do not pay to access broad band content I already pay for. I also do not pay to access content for games I already paid for. I also will not, and never will pay to play games that do not support dedicated servers since its using MY connection to play the game.

Paying for console internet is the biggest scam since fake credit cards. I'll say zero, just what I pay to play my 360 and my wii.

Well to me its worth at least as much xbox live, my computer died on me a while ago and all i had was my 360, while i was in the process of ordering parts to build my new PC i bought a MSG 4 ps3 bundle.The internet browser and sd card drive helped me make it through some hard times with no PC.

If it were mandatory to pay for online play, I'd do my online gaming on PC only. Out of principle.

erm, imo you are, you are missing out on a great gaming experiance. But whatever. Anyway, I havn't used PSN so I cannot comment on how much I would pay for it.

how is it any better than free pc / free psn? It doesn't make the game any better at all. Remember, everything you do in game on XBL is controlled by your own internet connection and the connection other players have. You are paying for the right to use your own connection, and play a game you already paid for.

I'd agree with inverted3reality after doing both for a certain amount of time, i felt screwed for paying 50 bucks a year on live,when ps3 free service does much more.Haven't been on live in a long time but they could of at least added a web browser.and i'll say live was a bit easier hooking up with friends to play but i'd glady take a little more time to set up than pay 50 bucks.

I would not pay to play online. If the PSN cost money i would just game on my PC.
