... and yet theres no games that we esxpect from the Wii so far like FPS and RTS

 

 

BTW Im talking about ground up FPS and RTS not ports. Lets not forget a real Resident Evil game or TPS for that matter which isnt a port

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

 

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

 

E3 2010- Tape runs out

Wait what? You act like they announced the wii 2. Though I expect them to release a new console in Fully in Amreica in 2011

Im not interested in fps or rts but what about the conduit... isnt that made ground up or you're asking for upcoming titles?

its not even comparable to COD WAW Wii and its watered down multiplatform port. So thats an exception

 

And about Ninty being in next gen, having a new console in year 2011 and 2012 was shorter than everyone here thinks. its 2010 next year...

 

and yeah Im sure they will announce a new console in 2011 and 2012. Even what it takes. They dont want SONY and MS to take the spotlight with their 10 year plan

I will say that there has been lack of quality software lately and not many developers have turly embraced unique control schem of the wii just yet. i would love to see a good FPS on the wii. there have been a couple but nothng to brag about.

and out talking about the next gen system, right now its just talk of course they are working on it already probably a few years in development by now but it wont be released ultil late 2011 at the earliest.

First off Nintendo won't announce their next console until after Sony and MS, since the NES, Nintendo has never launched first, however Nintendo always works on their next piece of hardware, the second Wii was finalized, they probably began work on the next console after Wii, that's the way Nintendo does it.

Now as for games like RTS and FPS, that's for third parties to step up, Nintendo isn't going to release a game for every genre



 

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! We are moving into the last great wave of Wii software, i think. But it'll be more than most can stomach, i'll grant that.

well you can argue that yes the wii may have a lack of fps's, but only relative to other consoles. i think the others have too many.

but rts? please, any rts is a joke compared to good rts's on pc.

I'm sure you shooter fans who love to play online can argue about lack on wii, but really you are arguing about what exactly? you obviously have a 360 or ps3 and are playing them already, so why bring it up. your just trying to knock the wii. grow up.

but the the hd twins have a lack of party games. i mean games for multiple people to play together IN PERSON, in the SAME ROOM, on the SAME SCREEN. Never understood the facination with playing online with others. Hell even some of my online games i want to be in the same room as the other person. Gaming is funner with others
