It's hard to tell with racing games tbh, it will sell a LOT more than Forza 2 but no idea how many, it certainly has a lot going for it though.

Killzone 2 has sold like 1.99 million to date, why don't you make a thread about how much of a flop that game is then? Stupid fanboys...

Forza 1 sales - 1.07mln LTD
Forza 2 sales - 4mln LTD
Forza 3 sales:
2-2.5mln this year
600-700k first week
5.5-7mln lifetime sales with bundles
that's all it can get for uber hardcore sim especially on consoles - it's not arcade racer after all.

Bingo we have a winner. I dont think KZ2 flopped though. Nor has it stopped selling yet. But many fanboys or just douches who try to get a reaction out of people will say its a flop.

 

Thats the reason why i put by fanboys standards in my first post.

 

I think Forza 3 selling 1.5-2.0m is good. But it will be below most people expectations. So in essence a flop to them but not a flop by any decent persons standards.

You are saying that killzone2 hasnt flopped but that Forza3 will flop with similar sales because of the previous hype? Where you in a coma in the run up to the killzone2 release?

If you read what he said, it will be a flop by fanboy standards. So unless you are calling him a fanboy I don't see how he called it a flop. 

It wont either way no matter how much it sells but you can bet there will be threads made about it if it "only" sells 2 million.

Are some of you comparing Forza 3 hype with that of something like KillZone 2? Jeez some of you guys are pathetic. F3 has no where near the hype killzone 2 got and will probably outsell it before bundling (maybe by the end of this year).

Even if your a fanboy I don't see how 2 million sells could be called a flop. So much bias at this site its shameful. So what kind of sales does F3 have to have to not be considered a flop by fanboys? That of GT?

I can only imagine what kind of uproar that would happen if M$ decides to bundle this heavily and it ends up outselling GT 5. I would laugh so hard.

It's not really pathetic when you think about it.

Fanboys hyped up Killzone 2 to be PS3's Halo-big FPS.

Turn 10 AND fanboys are hyping Forza 3 to completely outdo Gran Turismo in every aspect.

People are bound to think with all the hype and trashtalk, expecially from Turn 10 temselves... It will be hitting at least 6-7 Million, maybe more when it is compared to Gran Turismo.

That's just the way it is. As for 2 Million not being a flop, i agree with you on that one.
