Well I never had a PS1 so that is out for me. Man it's hard to chose between the PS2 and PS3. The PS2 had a crap ton of great games. But I am going out on a limb here and saying that overall I like the PS3 the best. Playing Uncharted 2 this week has made me pick the PS3.
End of 2009 sales predictions:
PS3 - 33 Million 360 - 40 Million Wii - 75 Million
PS3 its the first play station iv really played, I got the 1st and 2nd very late in the gen and didnt play most of the games for the systems.

PS2 is the best because it repaired a lot of PS1 faults (mainly ugly graphics) and it was in the PS2 era that most of today's best games were born (the first 3D GTA for example).
PS3 is basically an extension of PS2.
PSX > PS1 > PS2 > PS3
(I remember the days when Playstation was abbreviated to PSX, then they had to make the ugly smaller one and name it PS1).
PS1 brought me crash bandicoot, final fantasy VIII, Tekken 1-3, X-men VS Street Fighter and Gran Turismo 2.

The PS2 had as ugly graphics as the PS1, considering the time.
