*shrug* the art looks great to me. It's hard to tell how the game will look overall though when we are only seeing screens from one level. Who knows what variety of styles are used in other parts of the world.

Hope it gets better with more dev time. Technically the graphics are poor, and artistically they have nothing of the awesomeness of the first artworks. I was hoping something very different, but I'll wait.

Difficult to judge just from these scans. Interesting they're including 2.5D sections... Taking some inspiration from Mario Galaxy, I wonder?

I'll wait until videos of this game surface before forming impressions on graphics. I just hope this game plays well, there's so much potential.

I really like the screens. I did not know what to expect and really just like the whole idea of the game more so then any artwork or concept drawings. This looks polished right now with a ways to go and that means more to me at this point. Keeping my eye on the development of this game for sure.

i never liked Mickey Mouse when i was younger.. preferred Bugs & Daffy etc, but this looks cooooool.... he really suits being a video game character.. last Mickey Mouse game i played was Enchanted Castle on the Master System II, lol.

Without actually reading the article:

I'm fairly disappointed. It's not because of textures or a low polygon count (after seeing the majestic SMG I honestly don't care about that stuff), but it just looks half done everywhere.

All the "in-game" (or what looks to be) looks like crap but all the concept art around the page is freaking amazing. I'm really disappointed. Make the game 2D if you have to! I just want to see that amazing art that clearly doesn't look like it'll translate well into 3D (at this point).

OR make it into a movie! This could be the great return of 2D disney animated feature films!

Actually, looking over the screen shots again, I'm not unimpressed by them, I think it's just the fact that they look so bare (in terms of objects/things to interact with on screen) that puts me off. Also, I don't like the mickey model in this game (pssst.. use kingdom hearts mickey and not the old school disproportionate one).

Lets get this straight: these screens are awful.

Nothing like the "epic" that was promised.  Its brightful like "BLASTO" from the Ps1. 

Enviroments look too small. Screens feel claustrophobic.

The game can turn out to be good. But really, you dont have to defend anything wii even if its bad

For now, just give it up: these screens are a let down.
