lol, wii fit could become best selling game of all time if it never slows down. That would be funny to watch.

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

What has this world come to when you need video games to have fun.

Honestly though a video game will never provide resistance.

When I want to play a game I want to relax.

I guess people see things differently that's what makes us all different.

@darthdevidem01 That is one really expensive gym.

There's a lot of exercise which can be done using only the human body for resistance. That's why Wii Fit focuses on things like yoga, aerobics, pushups, etc. It's true that there are a lot of fitness goals that Wii Fit won't address very well. It's good for a certain level of fitness which the average person has a hard time achieving, but it obviously can't replace bulky and expensive weight systems and get you ripped. Even if you're doing weight training, Wii Fit is still pretty good for stretching and working your core muscles.

The key to Wii Fit is that it provides motivation in the form of feedback, scoring, stat tracking, virtual trainers, and even some fun minigames. Not everybody will need that motivation to exercise, and not everybody will respond to it, but for some of us it takes the edge off a boring and tedious activity.

I understand the need to relax. I've got games for when I want to burn calories and games for when I want to park my ass, and I think most other Wii owners do, too.
