BioWare issues ‘no comment’ on Mass Effect 2 PS3 listings

BioWare has responded to the recent listings for Mass Effect 2 on PlayStation 3 being displayed on both Electronic Arts Russia and GAME UK. It's not a denial, so it does make us a bit suspicious. A user on the official BioWare forums, linking to us, asked BioWare what they have to say about the listings.

BioWare's Patrick Weekes responded, "That we don't comment on rumors. "

The 'no comment' makes us suspicious. They're sill not denying a PlayStation 3 version. That sly smiley face adds even greater to the suspicion.

I don't believe bioware said they dont respond to rumors because they have in the past. It was usually "the only platforms announced so far is 360 and pc which will release 2010"

Dude.. The "No Comment" is like half a confirmation. We both know that.

Not a full one.. but a half.

 

 

Anyways I don't care that much. I might get it, I might not. I might finally grab the pc version, I might not. I dunno. Depends on a lot of things.

i dont think they will say no, but they could word it differently.

i think ps3 owners would enjoy this game if it came out 6 months after 360 version, with mabey mass effect 1 as psn download.

coming out later wouldnt be to bad as theres lots of games to purchase in 2010.

I think it is coming or that they are talking about a potential release ...

Perhaps it will depend on the PC/360 sales.

Usually when a company says we don't respond to rumours. It really means there thinking about it or talks are going on. Usually when rumours that arn't a tiny bit true surface they get shut down very quickly. If the game gets released earlier on the xbox 360. 360 owners should be cautious. Remember Sony has an extra content rule for late games
