Wii's sales week beofore the cut 163,423. Wii's sales the week od the cut 339,882 Thats a 176,459 rise in sales. So will the be a slight drop? A huge drop? Sales remain the main? Or rise?
I think the will be a fair drop |
and what's a fair drop? 20%? 50%? 70%?
I would expect the second week would have no drop.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
Before the announce it was doing >190k/week average during dead periods, so I find reasonable that for a while it won't fall under 200k/week even during slow periods.
pulling out of the station, choo, choo let's all ride the WII DOOM TRAIN=\
sorry, but I don't have the ticket for this one.

It will go for about 5 miles, then it will pull into the next station, let all the Wii doomers off, and pick up the 360 doomers.
^^
And where did it let off PC and PS3 doomers?
In particular, it looks like PC doomers like to run circles year after year on that train!
The wii will drop 10-15% next week imo and then remain steady / increase the the holiday period begins
Well its supposed to be flat week over week in Japan according to the preview.
And in my opinion the will be a drop in EU, NA
So overal a drop.
Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!
Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st
I honestly think this will be the peak week -- with Wii sales then stabilizing at a lower plateau.
After all, the news of the price cut was slow to filter out and was only in place for 2-3 days in Japan.
I have seen a lot fewer Wiis on the shelf at stores this week in the US. Of course, since a lot of these were trips to stores not tracked by NPD, I wonder how accurately the sales will be portrayed by the tracking service.
