ps3 was winning against 360 while they had a huge price differrence in PAL

The 360 will almost certainly give the PS3 a serious run for its money! I think your statement is a bit premature at this point.

I've never seen a 7 million lead  be talked about like this thread does.

Lets say, realistically, that the PS3 beats the 360 by 100k every week from now on.

It would take until sometime late 2011 for it to surpass Microsoft's project.

And for christ sake, why does it seem like the most blatant of fanboy's spell like crap.

I think Microsoft sacrificing their PC gaming efforts has more to do with this. Compared to last gen many more Microsoft published games didn't release on the PC and others were very late. For example Halo, Fable, Gears of War have seen sequels on the 360 neglecting Windows gaming (these are the platform's most major games). It seems Microsoft is busy slowly killing PC gaming to the advantage of the 360. Fans of these games have no other option than a 360 nowadays. Even hardened highly acclaimed PC gaming veterans like Crytek are jumping over to the consoles.

I do think Microsoft at some point will return to their roots though.
