It already has in Japan and is about to in Europe. Quite impressive, considering 360 had a one-year headstart.

And how is that "quite impressive" considering PS2 beat Xbox 1 by 100 million consoles?

er, 7.5m behind = almost certainly gonna beat?

the PS3 has a Slim (lol, get the irony?) chance of catching the 360, yes, but to say it's "almost certain" is silly, unless that is, you come from the future?

Considering all the xbox give-aways after red ring of death failures, PS3 has allready beat btox.

Actually it was a year and a half headstart in Europe.

To compare the PS2 to the original xbox isn't quite "fair" although you speak the truth.

You wanting it won't make it happen. Things will switch up again when 360 price gets cut below $199 + Natal. Its up to Sony to respond again after that.
