So I work the early morning shift at target unloading the truck and stocking everything. Today the Team Leads get everyone in a meeting and starts yelling about how one of the employees is throwing shit around in the bathroom. Literal shit. Someone grabbed poop and started throwing it around in the bathroom. This has apparently happened on 3 occasions... We know it's an employee because the bathrooms are cleaned by the cleaning crew in the early morning and before the store opens the shit is in the bathroom. Now, they are thinking its one of the new recruits because its an odd coincidence that something like this has never happened before and 5 guys were hired 3 weeks ago. Luckily for me the bathroom that it takes place in is in the front of the store. Everyone (New recruits and all) BUT me works there since the front of the store is where the more commonly purchased items are and its the first thing that needs to be stocked so every team member gets it done before open. I luckily work in the electronics. The sections are split up A-G its basically A-F are the isles and G is the side isle in the back of the store that holds all the food. So the bathroom is in A and I work in F. After the meeting I turn to someone and go... "Wait... let me get this straight... someone threw shit around or do they mean shit as in toilet paper and soap and other shit"

That isn't as uncommon an occurrence as you would imagine. I've talked to quite a few janitors who have had to clean up messes like that from Private Schools to decent work places.

Honestly I seriously don't know what is wrong with some people.

I had to deal with that all the time when I was a park caretaker for my local city.

If you ever wonder why your taxes are high - it's because they are/were paying people to clean up after morons that make messes at public places. It's just unfathomable that people can be that stupid.

Yep.  I was going to say the same thing... I REALLY don't get it.  But it happens a lot.

Once upon a time in my early days at my current job, we had a issue with keeping are bathrooms filled supplies( at the time we had no janitor) so it was up to us but we never really stayed on top of it and there was one customer that lets us have it everytime, he would come in daily for his shit break( he had a long drive home) and he would just complain and complain and complain everyday..we would just give him tissue then ignore him. One day during christmas time he came in to do his business and once again we had no tissue and whole was up front in a chaotic christmas line and we couldnt tend to him..and wasnt gonna wait so he went to the bathroom. 15mins later he comes out and says " u still didnt have any tissue so I made own" and left, we didnt know wat he meant by that so we ignored him. We had gotren these chritmas sweaters that had just dissapeared...no body purchased any..nobody stole them( had security stickers)..wat happened to them???..me, my assistant and manager went loikin 4 them...we found them..turns out he had taken them to the bathroom...and took a shit all over them..not logs..more like a sombody poured a bowl or chunky chilli on them but it was Shit..it was 25 sweaters too on a seasonal sale everybody wanted..imagine Xxplaining this....

Some people just don't care as long as they don't have to clean it up. They just like making life harder for others.

I think I heard France was considering using DNA testing to identify dog poop on the streets and fine their owners.

lol... imagine how big that fine would be. It would need to pay for the DNA test and the "investigation" on top of the normal fine. I say GO FRANCE!
