they were the first to have 2 analogue sticks [though i didnt think they felt analogue myself, too loose]
they were the first to put 2 rumble features in their controller too [though not many devs used them seperately]

I think the majority of Sonys inventions are just varios different types of media to see if they can have a success like VHS/CD/DVD

Neo-Geo had memory cards, Sega CD had memory carts, ect.

they did this because the canadian dollar is now stronger,it still doesnt equal the same but very close
