Well i dont own a DS nor do i own a Wii. I did own a DS light for like 20 mins but i taken it back to cash converters before i even played a game on it. I played brain training on my nieces DS light before though.

OK the thing is i dont really like nintendo's direction. It just doesnt have true games on the systems. Yes the DS has a few RPG's and a mario game but what else?

The wii just seems really overpriced for what it has or does. I almost brought one last spring for 120 pounds but i couldnt bring myself to do it. Yh it has like Mario galaxy. mario and sonic at the olympic games. And thats about it for. Am i missing something. What games do you get to satisfy you "true" gaming needs?

Why do you go for nintendo. What do they really have that keeps you comming back. is all your Wiis truly collecting dust in the corner and shit. Does a Wii owner need another console "HD" to get the full gaming experiance? I just dont see what brings people to buying it unless they are really fat or have kids. Educate me

The Wii is gaming for adult males and females...games don't have to have pretend guns/swearing/blood to be games....when you get in your 30's you tend to have outgrown that kind of stuff.

its because they are nintendo fans.. I almost bought a wii, but said hey ive never had a playstation, and I could play all those PSone/PS2 games, so I got it.

Wii was my console this gen, I was actualy quiete disapointed after the first few yahoo days with Wii Sports. There isn't many quality titles that would appeal to me (and I have pretty much every decent game that has released on that system). So far the topten for the console is filled with ports from older systems (RE4 hell yeah). When I have friends over, we play the Wii and it's a great fun, WarioWare, MKWii, SSBB and Boomblox are great for parties. But single player experience? Well expect for Nintendo's big trio (which doesn't appeal to everyone I might add) there isn't much else really.

But I love my DSi, I really do, the games on it are awesome. I'm a huge SRPG fan and DS has so much to offer! Also thanks to DS I've got back into the adventure genre (Phoenix Wright series is a great fun aswell a logic teaser). DSi + PS3 are my top consoles this gen and I've tryied them all.

Cant comment on the wii since I dont have it but the DS is one of the best gaming platforms EVER.....which far too much to say to its competition.

My DS is still played to this day.....my psp is only used as an mp3 player so you tell me which was the better investment?

i almost bought a 360 and i mean yeah its got halo 3 but what else. its not really gaming, its gambling

I picked Nintendo because I love their games, I've been a huge fan for years and years, and yes it is truly gaming, for starters if they never existed you wouldn't know what a Playstation or a xbox was. You only listed 2 wii games and said that's about it? Your forgetting about madworld, metroid prime trilogy, no more heroes, plus another load too and there's more on the way. Say what you like about their games, I like them. Don't see why your asking if our Wii's are collecting dust, both ps3 and 360 collects dust aswell unless you clean them.

the DS has some of the best "traditional" games ever and a huge library of 'hardcore' games.
