Forums - Website Topics - On a Scale of 1-10, How Satisfied Are You With This Site?

And why do you rate it at whichever number you choose?

As for me:

I give this site a 6.5/10. Numbers are accurate the majority of the time, but sometimes they're just so far off from actuality that it's laughable. This is later fixed with adjustments, of course. The forums are fun most of the time.

+ Numbers are usually accurate

+ Forums

- Sometimes numbers are waaaay off (Latest Japan previews, anyone?)

- Some annoying members/trolls

- A lot of games are missing "Others" numbers.

pretty good, but always room to improve

10/10.

I've made some great friends here, who have turned me onto some amazing video games I hadn't gotten around to yet. I love the numbers, chartz, and analysis, I love the good part of the community, and this web site got me into E3 where I got to play New SMB Wii and post a preview article within a few hours of its first announcement, and I got to play Katamari Forever before it came out. I also got to get drunk with the news team and discover the truth about the Land of Dancing.

For myself Ill go with a 4, fanboys are ruining the forums and the site. I like the other stuff quite a bit and I dont care about system sales but I like to watch how well certain games perform.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

This is incredibly hard. I'm not sure if I would rate it 7 or 9 (there's no chance of an 8), because of a few things.

I think this site has really improved within the past month. That may be that the interest in the sales forum has spiked again (according to my numbers, there's been a 60% increase MoM), but it has improved greatly in many areas. I think the idea of making as many people contributors as there have been is great.

Some of the people who are now contributors used to do some "iffy" stuff. They were occasionally rude, and started a few "flame wars". After they have become contributors, they've started maintaining order, without banning people (I know they cannot).

Essentially, the "fanboy" part of the site has seemingly decreased a lot (I believe this is thanks to the contributors), and that has lead to a fair bit of good threads starting.

As of now, I think the contributors are doing a better job at keeping this site clean than the mods are.

I decided to give the site a rating of 9. Well done contributors!

It's my favourite place to be online and no matter what the plusses or minuses are the top site deserves 9/10

for me it's between 7.5 - 8 & I'm kinda leaning toward 8, I like the forums alot, it's much better than many other sites' forums & the members are way better & more friendly that I like almost all of them (minus the trolls), & I agree that some numbers & info on games from the (Other) region are missing, I hope in the future it'll be updated.

Community sometimes suck though. We shouldn't pretend we actually have any kind of intel in Japan. Let's just stick to MC or Famitsu numbers. Japan early numbers are just guesses I believe.

9/10 - enjoy most aspects of the site especially the numbers

7/10...too many fanboys here..
