See, what irks me regarding the relatively poor sales of this game (and many like it) is that the sole reason for its lack of sales always gets pinned on the fault of the Wii and its "casual" focus. There are tons of "hardcore" games like this on 360 and PS3, PS2, etc that have failed yet most people just seemed to shrug that off as being the norm for some games. But for Wii its always "Teh CASUALZ!"

Because no one ever talks about Wii games having long legs.  Oh wait...

It's a very rare game I get at full price. I got Wii Sports Resort on its launch day, but that included a free MotionPlus plus a free $20 gift card (which was turned into another free MotionPlus). Before that I think I got Punch-Out!!, but it was $10-15 off. Before that I think SSBB was the last one. With all the stuff I've got to play, I can't justify throwing $50 at this. I'll definitely get it, as it seems to be my kind of game, but when it hits $20 or lower (same with Little King's Story).

The only game I'm looking at when it comes out right now is NSMBWii for obvious reasons. Even then I expect to have a discount on $50. Hopefully TRU will run a deal like WSR or something.

In Memoriam RVW Jr.

SSBB Friend Code = 5455-9050-8670 (PM me if you add so I can add you!)

Tetris Party Friend Code = 116129046416 (ditto)

I might be taking crazy pills, but a 2D game, on a console, in 2009 w/ no marketing whatsoever selling 120k copies @ $50 (thus far) seems pretty damn good to me. (I'm really beginning to wonder if perspectives have been so badly warped by gazillion-selling titles like GTA, the Nintendo world beaters, Halo, etc. that any game that fails to sell 'just' 1 million copies is automatically considered an abject failure.)

I got it with my sexy wall scroll from gamestop. Lovely game, a great experience, lots od details, awesome visuals, a simple and yet deep combat system and one of the few games that get the idea of eating food right.

Speaking of which, GameStop didn't give me any promotional material.  Not that I'm angry.  I was happy enough just to get the game, as my local gamestop hardly even carries games that aren't Halo/MGS level hyped until a week later.  But for some reason, they got Muramasa a week early like the other GameStops.

But yeah, its not the first time GameStop has jipped me on a 'promo' item.

Six upcoming games you should look into:

Why the Hell should it make you sick that I didn't buy that game?

The game looks spectacular but so did Odin Sphere and I despised that game.  On top of that, dungeon crawlers just aren't my type of game.

Fool me once, shame on them, fool me twice, shame on me.

I can't justify paying full price for single player games, unless I'm sure it'll last a long ass time (60+ hrs).

I'll pick it up when I can find it at $20-30 or so. Same with Little King's Story.

I believe LKS is $30 new at gamestop. GO!

You haven't bought this game? Now 'I' feel sick :\ twesterm you're missing a gem of a game. you can trust me. I haven't fooled you once yet :D

It's just not my type of game. Besides I already have a huge backlog of games to play and to buy (most of which I'm getting for $10-$30 since their old now). The only game I'm likely to play full price for at this point is NSMBWii (which will never drop in price anyway) and WiiFit+ which is already cheap. Maybe.... Silent Hill if reviews are great. Everything else, whenever I get around to it, probably in a few months by which time they'll also have dropped in price to $20 range.

ill buy it when its released in australia
