Awesome!  I guess I'll continue to keep track of the Who First race (which is what this thread is really about).  I'll include a link to your ioi/ZorroX thread whenever I post an update to the 10M/5M numbers.

I'm going to say both Ioi and Zorrox predictions look way too high..

ZorroX is way too optimistic for the PS3.
And last year the Wii sold 954k units in the October-end of January period and Ioi is predicting 1.5 million units this year and this seems way optimistic to me too..



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Everybody has some biasness or favorites. so nothing new there.. I believe the final number will be in between both predictions..

I think neither the Wii nor the PS3 will reach the 10 M/5 M milestone in the time frame both have been looking at it.

 

I actually don't foresee either console hitting 5 or 10 millions units before somewhere around March 2010....

Both around 30k this week. Not good, but Wii didn`t go up either.

Next week Uncharted 2 has some chances to move up PS3 hardware.
Anyway, if both won`t get to their goals till March, then in March with help of GT5 PS3 definitely will be first.

PS3 is dropping further away from your prediction of 40K for the rest of the year. Do you think it will hold at 30K?

Also, we'll see soon enough if Uncharted 2 can help keep PS3 above 40K as you predicted.

 



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

because right now the gap is 100k in favor of the PS3 and it doesn't look like the gap will move much before NSMB Wii ( at least based on what numbers we have for Famitsu this week).
