I am about to give up on 360. LIVE $40 a year is alot. Halo ODST failed because of 8 hr single player campaign and Forza 3's graphics doesn't live up to expectation.

Alright before this turns into a flamewar, let me clarrify something, first of all wireless gaming is wonderful if you have a $hit load of wires behind your computer and you dont want to add another.. obviously having it connected is faster, but things DL at 1 mb a sec or a bit more at wireless, and thats not bad.

Also im tired of this bull$hit that PSN is slow.. first of all the DL's are the same depending on the servers the devs are using.. this is the same for XBL I think? But DL speeds aren't bad at all for either platform, when it comes to online gaming, its the same thing in regards to connection, barely any lag if any. Now here is the thing, clearly the 360 has the edge on updates, if your upating a game is usually takes half an hour on PS3, but on 360 its like 1 min, idk why but thats how it is o-O

outside of  where are you living you need 65 feet of cable to get to you console. my set may just lend it to wired, as my cable comes in I have a amped spliter,  then to TV, and to modem, from modem to wired router to consoles (xbox, 360, ps2 (its sick think ill have to get a new one or an original ps3 and a wii which is back in my posession) say 4 feet of cable. i do have a wireless router off of the wired for my laptop (portable devices are always best to have wireless in my mind so psp wireless is good,) a wired connection to the media center pc, and say 10~15 feet of cable run through a wall to my office tower. 

if your wondering i have run tests on both. wired is faster less packet loss, and i dont have to put up with interference form my cell or surround system one of the speakers sits about 3 feet above the consoles and that would screw with wirless signals, it makes a major difference in streaming media like form netflicks. and gives that extra umph to handle the poorly connected on the other end matches with far flung friends.

so i guess what im saying its nice if it works for you but its an unnecessary feature. i would rather of them kept ps2 BC and  separated wifi, i feel sony went the wrong way here, to the detriment of consumers, and if they start re issuing ps2 games on blue ray it will show that it was a thought out play to steal form consumers, much like i feel the psp go not having a data conversion for umd is. i have been a faithful psp user bought all my games legally and enjoyed them why try to screw me that way... seems ive gone off on a tangent sorry 

So much negativity in this thread. Both consoles are great and now both are selling well, shouldn't that be a good thing.

amen on the bull over psn speed never had a problem there. i dont see where people get this from unless they all just get on with people who have shitty wireless conetions.... 

upgrades i want to PSN and XBL ... A be able to refuse connections to no mic ers.   B ..... be able to limit by age and report people who are violating age by lieing..    C.... set connection minimums for both (i know this is kinda already there for both but it needs to be more controllable)

also i know most of those exsist in a few realms on various games but it should be standard to all games

PS3 and 360 have been playing leapfrog this entire generation (in terms of current rate of sales, not total sales) in a year or so the 360 will have a proper price cut - this most recent one doesn't count - and get back into the lead. Then later the PS3 will come back
