That's what I am thinking! Beta entries to games would be nice, or some occasional free arcade games/MS points or something
Wow. Is that really something to be proud of? lol
Thinking of the money I've had to spend just to play a game online usually makes me feel upset or ripped off, not joyful. :/
But a little about me, I've never played any mmo or any game for that matter that required monthly expenses because I firmly believe that after I purchase a game I should just be able to put it in and play for free. So yea, I was kind of limited to playing Diablo 2 for my mmo kick. What can I say? I'm a tightwad. haha.
@ Solid - he sees value in LIVE, like a lot of folks do. There's no need to stealth troll, man.
Sure, a lot of folks would like for LIVE to be free - but he's been on since - 2004 - and that's impressive.
What, son, what? New York, New York!!!

I hate MMO's too because $15 a month is way too much, but over the 5 years I have many times over gotten my money's worth with Xbox Live. $4 a month well worth all the great services, features, friends, and memorable moments it has brought me
@durtysouthhustla - Thanks

I have been on Live for 5 years.
I have been renting various places for 6 years as well(4 years for college and currently 2 years at my job). I will show how much I have spent on the various items.
Live for 5 years: $50, $50, $50, $40, $30 = $220
Renting for 5 years: 4 years at $350 a month(multiple room mates) = $16,800 + 1 year at $950 a month = $28,200
Live is a drop in the bucket compared to my other expenses. I probably spend more money on coffee in 6 months than I did on 5 years for Live.

True. I just hate spending money, mostly because I don't have much of my own. lol It's good that you enjoy it. I also enjoy playing on mine, I have some great memories too. I still remember the good ol days when gears 1 first came out. Man I played the shit out of that. Too bad they had so many problems with the 2nd one though. :(
Sac, I wouldn't be joyous and selebrating 5 years of rent either if it makes you happy. ;)
Durtysouth, people have opinions. As a paying consumer who owns the product I have the right to an opinion of any given product I purchase. Just because you don't agree doesn't mean I'm trolling. It means someone doesn't agree with you, get over it. It's life. And I sure wasn't trying to push my opinions on anyone else, I was actually trying to be humorous about it.
