Forums - Sales Discussion - Has any JRPG hit 1 Million this generation yet?

Has any JRPG hit 1 million this generation yet?  I know that Lost Odyssey, Valkyria Chronicles, Star Ocean 4, and Tales of Vesperia haven't...

If none has, FFXIII will definitely be the first.  Crazy.

Anybody want to guess any others that will reach the mark?  SO4 on ps3 might have a chance...or WKC.

* Edit:  Sorry, I meant consoles, not handhelds.

A bunch have on the DS.

If you include handhelds...

Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, and Soul silver have all gone over a million. Dragon Quest IX has also broken a million.

Console wise, I guess FF XIII will be first. Then I don't know what else will hit 1 mil later. I don't think SO4 PS3 or WKC will hit 1 mil. Another definite 1 mil console RPG is DQ X.

That's it pretty much...

*Cough* Versus 13 *Cough*

Yeah, FF versus definitely will....I suppose FFXIV prolly will too because of Japan.

Hopefully WKC2 will be able to because it will grow on the  momentum of the first.

none... and most dont deserve to either.

jprg designers need to get some new ideas and presentation styles.

Or not have a timed exclusivity contract.
