Quick answer: the patched present version has easier controls (different acceleration curves) than when the demo came up, and a tick box in the preferences to make them even lighter,  which I think is the default setting right now.

     Spend four or five hundred dollars to try to even out the demographics of this website?  I'm just going to say it, Ameratsu:  That is bad advice

     I think Nordlead is offering the most clear help in this thread, which you can apply to your own situation to see what you want more clearly, and not neccessarily arrive at the same conclusion he did.

     Just to chime in on the downloadable games front, if you're interested in stuff life Castle Crashers, Fat Princess, Braid, Flower, and Trine.  (If you're not, go ahead and ignore this paragraph.)  I consider myself quite the connessuer of downloadable games -- I've played most of them on XBLA and PSN, and the games I just mentioned are actually my favorite games this generation (and World of Goo!).  Anyway, I have a friend who always comes over and likes playing these games, and all this year I've been telling him to buy a 360 so he can play through Braid from start to finish, so we can play the games with co-op modes online...  anyway, he still hasn't jumped in, and just last week I told him to buy a PS3 instead.  Partially because of the price drop, but mainly because all of the games I listed before are either on PS3 or coming out on PS3.  For some reason, Microsoft let the exclusivity lapse on two of their best Arcade games, Braid and Castle Crashers, and in my mind that tips the balance pretty heavily in favor of the games on PSN.  Being able to play all those games without buying both consoles makes me a little annoyed I spent 450 on an elite and 400 on a ps3.

I don't see the problem. I can import banned games from other countries. Or is it because of too high shipping costs ?

And yeah they apparently patched the KZ2 controls, but I wouldn't recommend it at all to gamers with basically no Dual-Analog FPS experience. It feels very akward for me even though I played at least 100 shooters on consoles, so it must be a nightmare for anyone else.

@Alic0004: I don't own a 360, but i've had a lot of fun playing gears co-op and worms 2 local multiplayer. Rez HD is also a must have, as is the Raiden Collection if you're into shumps. The x360 is a really good system -- I wouldn't recommend it unless I thought it was worthwhile. What I meant is that there are so few xbox fans here that they tend to be underrepresented against sony fans, so for this thread I will take up their cause.

I would tend to agree with what nordlead said about buying a system based on what's out now, not the promise of future games.

I never play dual-analog FPS games and I love KZ2. I think it is really a matter of preferences and how much you've played others only seems to matter if you are stuck in your ways or you like to hop between shooters often and can't deal with relearning the controls.

ER............. This is what I say, instead of listening to people shout ps3 or xbox, why don't you sit down and make a list of games that you want to play on each system and then take a deep breath and ask yourself, which of these games do I want to play more?

You don't like halo, that's fine. You like uncharted 2, that's fine. You like Forza and GT5, that's fine. BOTH systems have stellar games and exclusives so it just depends on what you like. The war of PS3 bs XBOX360 will go on until the end of time, the final decision is yours.

That all? So no interest in Halo and Gears. How about Mass Effect, Splinter Cell, Project Gotham 4, Lost Odyssey, Banjo?

No interest in LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet and Clank, inFamous, Valkyria Chronicles, Demon's Souls, Heavy Rain, Last Guardian, God of War 3 at all?
