I think that's good! I wouldn't want a new gears of war before the next Gen (not saying that the last two weren't fantastic); they'll be able to do more with a next gen game and it's best to keep the franchise fresh and not overload it. It would also make a great launch title for Microsoft's next machine.

jkjk agreed to say no to Gears 3 in a year or two is like turning down a fat check with figures I've never seen before in my life. Gears of War 2 cost so little to make, why say no to Gears 3.

I thought Microsoft had a publishing deal set up with Epic or did I just imagine that? Anyway, releasing it on other consoles imo would be pretty pointless considering that most everyone that would buy it on other consoles would be a bit clueless as far as the storyline goes, but that's just me.
