I swear..WKC could have been a major player for SONY if they hadn't fucked everything up...does anybody still care especially when SO4,ToV,RoF,FF13 ext are commin very soon?

Well, they decided to not release a rushed product and polish it for the American release.

Exactly.

Which turned out to be stupid as even mediocre WKC would have enjoyed good sales if released in rpg drought we had last year.

Now it will be just one of many and might as well go unnoticed.

True. Too many PS3 JRPG next year.

If there is in fact a sequel to WKC, let's hope they fix the numerous flaws left in the original. According to numerous reviewers, WKC was far from stellar...

There are only 2 Exclusive PS3 games - the other is a PSN title. I don't think this is one though as those 2 games are going to be playable on the TGS floor, and if I'm right I think Level 5 said WKC 2 won't be at TGS except maybe a trailer?

There are more then 2 PS3 games going to be announced anyway, just 2 which are going to be Sony published. One will be the big 'wands' title, probably a new Hot Shots Golf as someone said. The other could be WKC 2 but if it's got to be in playable form I'd say we're more likely looking at something else.

*shrug*.

What were the flaws from the first one?

Well, I remember it got average reviews (70-80 %).

One thing I certainly remember is they said 'they got the numbers wrong' in this RPG (see the RPGfan review link below).

Which means for example the best choice was the normal attack all game long... They also said you didn't feel that much more powerful at the end of the game than in the beginning.

Maybe western reviews will say otherwise...

Eurogamer (which is a severe reviewer) gave it a 8/10.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/white-knight-chronicles-review?page=2

It might end up having the same fate as the Dark Cloud series. The first Dark Cloud has a Gamerankings score of 78% while Dark Cloud 2 has a score of 88%.

Yes, 8/10 is not bad after all...
